Abregado-Rae is a planet in the Core and is centered around manufacturing and trade, with a formerly primitave spaceport, but since the New Republic's birth the spaceport has cleaned up its act. That is only to the untrained eye below that it is a center for major smuggling, and is a place where uncounted species mingle and trade. The planets population of 40 million beings is controlled by an oppressive goverment that is allied to the New Republic. Durring the New Republic's war against Grand Admiral Thrawn Han Solo and Lando Calrissian went to Abregado-Rae to contact the smuggler Talon Karrde. | |
