The world of Alzoc III is home to the Talz species and is source of the Alzoc peral, also it is located in the Alzoc System in the Outer Rim. The world is covered with desolate, frozen plains, and the sun reflects off the reflective snow. The Galactic Empire had secretly placed a troop garrison on Alzoc III to force the Talz to work in underground mines. Alzoc III has never been entered into the Galactic Registry, and the New Republic learned of its existence after examining restricted corporation files. The Imperial Commander Pter Thanas was assigned to the rim world of Bakura after refusing to destroy a village of Talz miners on Alzoc III. Durring its flight the Eye of Palpatine stopped at Alzoc III to attempt to pick up a contengent of stormtroopers but picked up some Talz instead.
