The world of Bakura is a remote but rich green and blue planet with several moons. The Bakura System includes eight planets and is located on the isolated edge of the rim worlds, which includes one giant gas planet and Planet Six, an ammonia ice covered ice ball. The planet of Bakura receives a great deal of rain fall. The capital city of Salis D'aar sits at the base of a mountain range on a white quartz delta between two parallel rivers. The exports from Bakura include strategic metals, repulsorlife componentsm and an addictive fruit called namana, which is made into candies and nectar. The animal life includes the butter newt, and the predatory Bakuran cratsh, and planets include pokkta leaves, namana tress, and passion-bud vines. The Bakur Mining Corporation settled the planet during the end of the Clone Wars, and the inhabitants tend to be prejudiced against nohuman species and especially dislike droids, since the first Bakura colonists were nearly wiped out by malfunctioning robots. The constant goverment bickering made the planet very easy pickings for the Galactic Empire three years before the Battle of Endor, and immediately following the battle, Alliance and Imperial forces joined forces against the Ssi-ruuk Imperium's invassion forces.
