The planet of Balmorra is located in The Colonies Sector of Space, and is the place were some of the most advanced technology in weaponry comes from Balmorra. This planet is a factory world producing weapons for buyers, and when Suprme Chancller (Senator) Palpatine first declared himself the Emperor Balmorra started producing weaponry for the Imperial Army, they were the ones that built the AT-ST Walker. Following the Battle of Endor it was liberated by the New Republic, then it came back under Imperial Rule when the first of the Emperor's Clones appeared. Then after his death the planet began arming the New Republic and in retalliation the planet was attacked by a force led by the Military Executor Sedriss using the Shadow Droids and SD-9 battle droids. When Sedriss suffered suprissing loses he called off the attack in exchange for a shipment of molecularly shielded droids, but the ruler of Balmorra Governor Beltane knew that his planets survial depended on the victory of the New Republic. So he sent the shippment to Sedriss but he informed the New Republic leaders of the time and place of the delivery. Rebel commandos intercepted the shippment and after the resurrected Emperor was defeted Balmorra started to again supply the New Republic. | |
