Carida is one of several planets in the Carida System, and it was a large planet with high gravity, and a wide varity of terrain. Carida was the location of the Empire's most important Stormtrooper training center. The population of Carida was mainly humanoids who had thin limbs, and heavy, barrel chests. The Training Center included a Citadel surrounded by a towering wall. The planet had varying types of terrain that included: rocky mountains, frozen ice fields, jungles filled with carnivorous planets, and arid deserts, all this provieded the perfect training center for the Empire's Stromtroopers. The famous Admiral Daala attended the Imperial Training Academy on Carida before she was apponted to Grand Moff Tarkin's staff. The famous Dash Rendar also attended the Academy untill he was dishonorably discharged after his older brother crashed a freighter into the Emperor's private museum on the planet of Courascant. The Imperial Training Center and the entire Caridan System was destroyed when Kyp Durron took control of the Sun Crusher and went on a rampage and launched the Sun Crushers system destroying torpedos into the systems sun. The sun went super nova and destroyed the entire system including Carida.
