The world of Dathomir is located in the Quelii Sector, and the planet is one with low-gravity and it has only three continents, a wide ocean, four small moons, and witches (The Withches of Dathomir) which to be exact are a group of Force-sensitive women who ride fearsome rancors. The world is covered with a wide varity of terrian that include; mountains, deserts, purple savannas, and forests of eight-meter trees and vines bearing hwotha berries. The indigenous life includes; flying reptiles, piglike rodents, long whuffa worms, burra fish, and rancors. Humans first came to the planet when a group of illegal arms manufactures were exiled to Dathomir by the Jedi Knights. Then several generations later a rogue Jedi named Allya was also exiled to Dathomir. Allya began to teach the Force to the planets inhabitants and her descendants, who also learned to tame wild rancors. Almost nearly 400 years before the Battle of Yavin the two-kilometer Jedi Academy Ship Chu'unthor crashed in a Dathomir tar pit. The Jedi that came to recover the ship were repulsed by the witches (female inhabitants who learned how to use the Force). Later on when the Galactic Empire came about they came to Dathomir and constructed a orbital shipyard and a penal coloney on Dathomir's surface, but after Emperor Palpatine learned of the power of the Nightsisters' leader Gethzerion he ordered all the prison's ships destroyed to prevent her from leaving the planet. The Imperials that were stranded there were enslaved by Gethzerion. The Four years after the Battle of Endor Hand Solo won the planet in a sabacc game from Warlord Omogg, and durring this revilation it resulted in the destruction of the Nightsisters' and Warlord Zsinj's forces.
