The planet of Duro is located in the Corellian Sector of space and is home to the species known as the Duros, who have large eyes, thin slits for mouths, and no noses. The planet of Duro is also part of the system inside the Corellian Sector known as the Duro System, and has many orbiting cities, depots, and Shipyards. The planet is governed by a group of starship corporations, and all the decisions are made by a group of stockholders. The planet of Duro is mostly uninhabited but is mainy covered with automated farms, that helps to feed the inhabitants of the space cities. The animal life once included the canninbal arachind but is now extinct.
