The world of Kashyyyk is a green and brown jungle planet covered with kilometers-high wroshyr trees, and it is the home of the fierce but loyal Wookies species. Various ecosystems exist on each tree, with every level growing progressively more deadly the farther one travels toward the planet's surface. The Wookies inhabit the higher levels of the trees in huge cities that are naturally supported by the thick tree branches. The city of Rwookrrorro is more than a kilometer wide and built on a flat platform of meter-thick spongy material. The Wookies have easily incorporated modern technology into their society and even can accommodate visting starships, though they some times they prefer to opt for archaic tools like there traditional wuarrel-firing bowcasters. The Galactic Empire came to Kashyyyk and enslaved the Wookies to make them work on various Imperial construction projects. Many Wookies still resent all humans because of the actions of the Empire. | |
