The planet of Mrlsst is in the Mennalii System of the galaxy, and the planet joined the galactic community ages ago. The planet has always been a sanctuary for professors, scholars, and scientists, and is a planet that is well known as a University planet. Beings from every corner of the galaxy can be found milling outside the labs, and lecture halls at all hours, heading to and from their respective classes. To get Imperial Research money, Mrlsst and faked the production of a remarkable new cloaking device, code-named the Phantom Project. A few years after the Battle of Endor, the Mrlsst Planetary University President Keela not knowing that the cloaking project was a ruse invited representatives from the New Republic and Galactic Empire to meet at his offices. The projects data cards would be sold to the highest bidder, and durring the session the famed Rogue Squadron discovered a Planet Slicer in a nearby asteroid belt. The Phantom Project may have been a sham, but this new weapon was operational. The deadly device unexpectedly triggered a spacial wormhole, warping local space and swallowing up an Imperial vessel whole.
