The planet of Tynna is home to the otterlike Tynnans, and it is a resource rich planet that has been a long member of the galactic community. Durring the Old Republic Corporations developed the resources but kept Tynna's natural beauty intact. The Tynnans are creatures that have poor eye shight and a layer of fat below there skin protects them from Tynna's cold waters. The Tynnans are a socity that is entirely state run which gives citizens free access to housing, food, education, and other benifits. For almost a thousand years the members of the Tynnan goverment have been selected by a lottery, and since any citizen can be choosen to serve the Tynnans stay informed on important issues. The Tynnan species is one of the most affluent societies in the galaxy and they travel widely. The Galactic Empire tried to incress control over the Tynnan to generate greater revenue.
