The Trandoshan race hates Wookies but Bossk himself particularly hates Han Solo's friend the Wookie Chewbacca because Chewbacca has humiliated Bossk on so many occasions. Like all Trandoshans' Bossk has the power to regenarate limbs and he can see in the dark, the Trandoshan homeworld is in the same system as the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk. The Trandoshan's used to hunt the Wookies for there pelt and they also convinced the Empire to use the Wookies for slaves and the Trandoshan's offered to hunt down any that escaped, the Wookies owe most of there suffering to the Trandoshans. Bossk became a Wookie bounty hunter he gained great fame at it but his most wanted target was Han Solo's Wookie friend Chewbacca. Chewbacca was trying to help a group of Wookies set up an new home on Gandolo IV when Bossk and other bounty hunters attacked them Solo had dropped Chew of to help the Wookies settle down and Solo had gone to see his girlfriend. When Solo returned he say the Bounty Hunters and took the Falcon in on a straffing run of the Bounty Hunters. As Bossk and the other Bounty Hunters boarded Bossk's ship to go chase after Solo they left two guards woth the bound Wookies and the Bounty Hunters got on Bossk's ship and Solo decided to land the Falcon on top of Bossks ship trapping the Bounty Hunters in the Ship the Wookies broke free and over came the guards. Solo and Chew both aggreed to help find the Wookies a safe world, and the Wookies refused to kill the humiliated Bossk. It took days for the Bounty Hunters to cut themselves out of the Ship. After the Battle of Hoth, Lord Vader summond a group of bounty hunters to chase down the Millennium Falcon and capture it, Bossk was among those bounty Hunters. Bossk never caputured Chewbacca but he says if he ever gets a chance to kill him he will.
