Captain Gilad Pellaeon has been in the Imperial Fleet for over fifty years he has seen the rise of the Empire and the fatal blows struck aganst it. Fifty years prior to the destruction of the first Death Star and young Corellian named Gilad Pellaeon lied about his aged so he could join the Imperial Navy, he graduated in the top third of his class. Ensign Palleaon’s first assignment was to take a squadron of transport vessels to the planet Garvyn, the squadron was stopped by pirates and Pelleaon tricked and destroyed the pirates, for his quick thinking he was promoted to command the crew of an Imperial Star Destroyer the “Chimaera”. Among the ships missions were slaving missions to the planet Kashyyyk to capture wookies for slaves. At the Battle of Endor Pelleaon took command of the Chimaera when it’s captain was killed, reluctantly he ordered the Chimaera and the few other surviving ships to withdraw, he watched as the Empire died along with Vader and the Emperor. Five years after the Battle at Endor Pelleaon had tried to bring the Empire back, but he had gotten a new commander Grand Admiral Thrawn and Thrawn choose the Chimaera as his command ship and he also welcomed Pellaeon’s ideas unlike other commanders. After Thrawn’s death the Empire went back to fighting between each warlord. Admiral Daala tried to regroup the Empire for an major attack on the New Republic with the help of Pellaeon. | |
