Huff "Huk" Darklighter is the father of the Rogue Squadron hero Biggs Darklighter Huff was very proud of his son's valor, but he had bitter sweet feelings because Biggs wasn't around to receive his accolades. Even though Huff is surrounded by the rest of his family, there is still an air of loneliness about Huff Darklighter. Huff "Huk" Darklighter is one of the wealthiest residents on Tatooine, he made all of his fourtune from trading goods throughout the galaxy. Sometimes the bottom line was so important to Huff that he paid large bribes to do business. Once he even traffiked in black-market Imperial armor, weapons, and fighter craft. Later on he became an invaluable source for Rogue Squadron when they needed weapons and munitions to use against the former Director of Imperial Intellegence Ysanne Isard. | |

When Huff decided he wanted to have more children his second wife left him, still hurting from the loss of their only son Biggs. He then married Lanal, who is the sister of Silya Darklighter (Gavin's mother), which means that she is Gavin's aunt on both sides of the family. | |
